How to take a transit flight in Japan?
Im traveling to Washington from Singapore and I've got a transit flight in Japan. Its the first time I'm taking a transit flight. Do I need to get another boarding pass in Japan for my next flight or will I get it in Singapore together with the first flight ? Both flights are from the same airlines.

- Usually, you can get 2 boarding passes at the origin. It means you can get 2 in Singapore.
- You will almost certainly get boarding passes for both flights when you check-in in Singapore. You also probably don't have to exit the international transit area of the airport (you don't go through passport control/immigration in Japan). Check with the airline to find out if you even have to change terminals. http://www.narita-airport.jp/en/index.html
- You don't need to get another boading pass at anywhere in Japan as far as the airline is same for those flights. Just take it easy. Everything will be fine. You get two passes at check-in counter in Singapore at first all together. That makes you be pretty assured to transfer the next flight more systematically even if something like the first flight delay happened. You just need to move from gate to gate for departure there in Japan.
- You will be given a boarding pass for both flights in Singapore. You will also not have to pick up your luggage at the luggage carousel prior to checking in for your next flight. The airline will do that for you. Upon arrival, your flight attendants will direct you to the proper departure gate for your connecting flight. You won't even have to check in again. And, you will also not have to go through Customs and Immigration.
